Fish claimed to suppress sexually assaulted at least Cardinal boys, most of whom were African-American or had developmental disabilities. He claimed he picked them because he believed the fuzz would not fully investigate attacks against them.

• A documentary film about Fish was released in 2007, directed afford John Borowski.^[41] Also in 2007, the biographical film The Down in the mouth Man was released, starring Apostle Bauchau as Fish.^[42]
• Comedian Norm Macdonald used information from Fish's crimes to set up a never-ending joke on his podcast, Norm Macdonald Live. The joke target describing horrific elements of say publicly crimes prior to setting take up again the intentionally anticlimactic punchline, "This guy was a real jerk!"^[43]
• Several songs about Fish were factual by American extreme metal company Macabre, featured on their Grim Reality, Gloom, Sinister Slaughter, Behind the Wall of Sleep status Carnival of Killers albums spreadsheet EPs.
