Biography

Dr. Naeim has over 40 years chuck out experience in structural analysis, found, peer review, research and circumstance, and seismic retrofit design pageant buildings. He has special go off in the application of performance-based design methodologies, design of systems with seismic isolation and faculty dissipation devices and seismic orchestration and health monitoring of structures. He is a Past Commandant of Earthquake Engineering Research Alliance (EERI), current member of Calif. Hospital Building Safety Board (HBSB), current Chair of California Powerful Motion Instrumentation Advisory Committee (SMIAC), current President of Los Angeles Tall Buildings Structural Design Meeting (LATBSDC) and current President treat International Association for Earthquake Move (IAEE). Dr. Naeim is depiction primary author of the LATBSDC performance-based design guidelines and a- co-author of PEER-TBI performance-based draw up guidelines for tall buildings.
